Horse riding in the North Pennines AONB Cumbria
With an abundance of spectacular moors, rivers, valleys and woodlands, the North Pennines AONB is the perfect place to go horse riding.
At Cranmore you can even bring up to 2 horses on a DIY livery arrangement.
For those who are experienced riders, the Pennine Bridleway covers 205 miles of ancient packhorse trails across the beautiful landscapes.
The Eden Valley Loops are also a good option encompassing 84 miles between Ullswater and the North Pennines.
